§ 28-50. Failure to obey peace officer.

  • It shall be a violation for any person to not stop travel within a reasonable amount of time when directed to do so by a peace officer. This direction shall be by flashing lights, siren, hand signal, whistle, verbal command, or other commonly recognized form of communication. This section shall apply to all forms of transportation, including pedestrian traffic. Any person found guilty of violating this section shall be required to pay a fine of $125.00 to the city.
