§ 32-203. In-service training.

The city manager shall encourage training opportunities for employees and supervisors in order that services rendered to the city will be more effective. He or she shall assist department heads in providing training programs designed to meet immediate citywide personnel needs and to prepare employees for promotion to positions of greater responsibility. Training sessions may be conducted during regular working hours at the discretion of department heads.
