§ 36-3. Enforcement and penalties.

  • Any person violating any provision of this chapter or the regulations hereunder, is punishable under conviction by a fine of not more than $300.00 for each violation. In the case of a continuing violation, each day the violation continues shall constitute a separate offense. The court, in lieu of or in addition to any other sentence imposed, may direct a labor of litter gathering, to be supervised by the city. In addition, violation of the provisions of this chapter may also violate state law, which is a criminal offense.
